Privacy Policy

Hoop & Yoga Fitness (“we”, “us”) is a coaching practice run by Devina Prasad, based in Bangalore. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website and WhatsApp/Instagram, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your name, email address, and phone number, when you book a session.
• Booking details: service, coach, date/time, and price.
• Payment records: which deposit was paid and when. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details directly. That's handled entirely by our payment processor, Cashfree Payments.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp or Instagram, so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.

Health-related information

If you mention a health condition, injury, or pregnancy when booking a yoga or pregnancy yoga session, whether on a call, on WhatsApp, or in person, we treat that as sensitive information regardless of how it reaches us, and only use it to plan your session safely. We don't collect this through an online form today; it's shared directly with your coach.

Where your data is stored

Booking and account data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase), in Google's Mumbai (asia-south1) region. Payment processing runs on Cashfree Payments' infrastructure. Messaging runs on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and Instagram.

Why we collect it

• To hold your slot, confirm your booking, and collect payment for it.
• To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and payment updates.
• To answer questions you send us over WhatsApp or Instagram.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for ad targeting.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for our own accounting and legal record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your data and you have no active or upcoming booking, we'll anonymize your record rather than delete it outright, so our financial records stay accurate. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what data we hold on you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete/anonymize it. Email hello (at) hoopyogi (dot) com and we'll respond directly. This is also our designated contact point for any privacy-related complaint.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be called out on our WhatsApp/Instagram channels.
